  • Belair Road Drainage Project

Stage two of the Belair Road Drainage Project is underway.

A 1200mm diameter pipe will be installed along the western side of Belair Road from the southern entrance to the Railway Station, along Belair Road to Wattlebury Avenue.

Stage 1, to install conduits along Belair Road to relocate ETSA services, was completed in September.

Stage 2 involves the installation of a 1200mm diameter pipe from the southern entrance to the railway station, along Belair Road ending just prior to Wattlebury Avenue.

Pipe installation works are scheduled to commence 15 November 2011and expected to continue, for approximately five weeks, into December 2011. The work will be undertaken along the western side of Belair Road between the Mitcham Railway Station and Wattlebury Road.

Traffic restrictions will apply to Belair Road for the duration of the works. Electronic sign boards will be erected at each end of the work site and for early notification to motorists and the community of the proposed works.

Beltrame Civil has been engaged to undertake the works on behalf of the City of Mitcham.

f you have any queries in relation to the project please contact John Wiley on 8372 8888.
